Refined Performance

The 2022 Hyundai IONIQ 5 is available with a choice of battery packs: a 58-kWh pack and a 77.4-kWh pack. The 58-kWh battery pack is offered exclusively as a rear-wheel drive powered by a single electric motor. This configuration will deliver 168 horsepower and 220 miles of driving range.

For its part, the 77.4-kWh pack can be had either as a rear- or all-wheel-drive. The rear-wheel-drive version works with an electric motor in the rear axle to deliver 225-horsepower and 303 miles of driving range. The all-wheel-drive model has two electric motors (one in front and one in the rear) that combine for a total system output of 320 horsepower and 256 miles of driving range.

Meanwhile, the Hyundai Kona EV is powered by a liquid-cooled 64-kWh lithium-ion battery pack working alongside a single motor for a combined 201 horsepower and 258 miles of range.
