As always Krystle Mendez is the epitome of what a sales rep should be. Brought my car in for service and of course one of the managers wanted me to do a test drive. I told him I don't deal with anyone but Krystle and luckily she was on her way in so I waited. I went on a test drive with her and she answered all of my questions and really listened to what I'm looking for and what I need. Last week, my husband and I went to explore car buying options. We met Mohammed Duhayat, sales consultant, who offered to help us. Mohammed was very helpful and knowledgeable too. He engaged with us, but did not push anything onto us which is rare to experience especially with dealerships. The GM that worked with Mohammed was also very nice, and actually stayed with us to discuss numbers instead of going back and forth (this was a huge plus from my end). From a closing side/financing, I have mix feelings. I feel like there was no need to keep us there for long hours, and if you say no to additional products/packages, I think they should easily take "NO" for an answer. Person that worked with us directly (forgot his name) was good, but his manager could have kept his "one over" comments to himself. From Sales prospective A+ From Financing Perspective B- I did leave all 5 stars as I did walk away with a very nice car and I feel a great deal.

I brought my new Hyundai in for routine maintenance and to address 2 recalls. I arrived on Saturday morning, having made an appt at 730am, and there was a crazy long line. I was about to be really annoyed but was pleasantly surprised at how smooth, fast, efficient and friendly everyone was. My service contact was William Thomas, aka Tripp, and he was awesome! Tripp booked me an Uber, kept me updated on my car’s progress and my car was ready within the time frame he had promised. Overall great experience!

Went to a different Hyundai dealership before coming to Brandon Hyundai and had a terrible experience. Was expecting more of the same but couldn’t be happier to be wrong. We worked with Max and he was responsive in answering all questions, was very transparent, and a pleasure to work with. He even took care of everything via email and phone calls so I didn’t have to drive all the way over there. I cannot thank him enough for the level of service he provided. The only “negatives” were that I did feel a little rushed, but it was the end of the month so I get it. And there were some discrepancies in the contracts with what I asked for versus what was written in there. But the team was very responsive and amenable to fixing everything quickly. I also want to mention I felt like the other dealership I went to did not take me as seriously when I told them I had to make the decision with my husband and asked me if I could call him and make the deal without him being there. It was very pushy, they kept trying to sell me on leasing, and they didn’t listen to what I wanted. Probably one of the better experiences I've had at a car dealership. We came in with our requirements and Brandon Parente (our sales consultant) had us in and out in about 2hrs. I like the efficiency of this staff, I didn't feel like we were being hassled to buy more than what we wanted, and they have the lowest rates that I've seen... and we shopped around for a minute before we came here. Hyundai has some great deals right now so if you're looking for a car that has reliability and great safety ratings (I can vouch that our insurance went down significantly) you should definitely check them out.

Very professional from the Internet advisor to my personal advisor to the management team that made this deal so smooth.

My NEW vehicle was finally fixed...faulty switch...on sunroof after sitting at dealership for 3 days where they could not diagnosis the problem properly. Service Department gets 1 star while sales and management staff get 5 stars.

Stay away from this dealership at all costs...I purchased a NEW 2026 Hyundai Kona Limited just 3 days ago and paid $40,000 CASH. The car is already back for service due to sunroof not operating properly. They now have to replace the sunroof motor which involves ripping out the liner which means I won't have my car back for several days. Absolutely not acceptable. I am asking for a new replacement as the car has only 105 miles on it and should be guaranteed under the Hyundai Assurance Program. I should have listened to many Hyundai custermers that buying a Hyundai was the worse thing to do. THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. I am a 100% Disabled Vietnam Veteran and saved my money to buy a new car. Safety Negligence: During the test drive, the vehicle shook significantly at 60 MPH. The dealer admitted they knew about the alignment issue but hadn’t fixed it in the 38 days they had it listed for sale because they “only test drive on the public road in front of the dealership” which has a 50 MPH speed limit, and the shaking only began at 60+ MPH. They eventually replaced two tires and performed an alignment to make it roadworthy, then attempted to raise the asking price by $1,200, charging the customer for their own safety negligence, because now the vehicle was “more valuable” than without the repairs. 2. Bad Faith & Breach of Trust: I made a fair offer of $37K once repairs were completed. When Valen pushed for more, I said if they can’t agree to my offer, that’s fine, it’s only business. I had mentioned to my sales rep, Stefano, that I had another quote to consider. Valen Tenney asked to see it, claiming he wanted to “show his boss the competition” to help get my price approved. Instead, he used that information to secretly call the other dealership to check if their vehicle had sold, using my private information against me. 3. Physical Intimidation of a Pregnant Woman: When my wife and I decided to leave, manager Valen Tenney ran into the parking lot and chased us to our car. He began taunting us, asking “What’s Plan B?” now that the other vehicle I had a quote for was sold just one day prior, and accused me of “sneaking off”. Valen treated me like a criminal rather than a customer. Valen then stood in close proximity to my pregnant wife, his face turned red, his hands were flailing, and his voice was raised and aggressive, to the point where I felt it necessary to physically place myself between them to ensure her safety. He gaslit us, twisted our words, and attacked my character simply because we refused to accept a predatory deal. Summary: This dealership sells unsafe vehicles, uses your private information against you, and employs managers who physically intimidate pregnant women in parking lots. Avoid at all costs. I attempted to contact Brandon Hyundai directly on multiple occasions before escalating this complaint and received no response. I want to be clear; Stefano Santini was a great salesman. I came home Friday afternoon, after my first test drive before the vehicle was fixed, and told my wife Stefano was the most genuine salesman I've encountered in my life and trusted him. All the negative experience I've mentioned above was from Valen Tenney.

had a very frustrating and disappointing experience at this dealership. During the purchase process, a charge labeled “PPV” was added to the price of the vehicle without being clearly disclosed or properly explained. I only discovered it after carefully reviewing the paperwork. At no point did the salesperson or finance manager clearly explain what this charge was or that it was an optional add-on product. It appears this fee was simply slipped into the contract, which is extremely misleading and raises serious concerns about the dealership’s transparency and sales practices. When I brought this issue to their attention immediately, the staff dismissed my concerns and insisted there was “nothing they could do” because the paperwork had already been signed — despite the fact that this charge was never properly disclosed or discussed during the transaction. This experience left me feeling misled and taken advantage of. Practices like this damage customer trust and make the car-buying process unnecessarily stressful. I strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle here to scrutinize every single line of the contract, because optional products may be added without clear explanation. I will also be filing complaints with the appropriate consumer protection agencies to ensure this situation is properly reviewed. Buyers deserve honesty and transparency, and unfortunately that was not my experience here.

This dealership is why people don't trust car dealers and hate buying cars! I bought a 2023 Hyundai Palisade on 10/27/25 and have had an absolutely terrible experience. They can't be trusted to do what they promise, and they don't return texts, emails, or phone calls. To summarize, I found the car online and negotiated the price over the phone a few days before I wanted to pick it up. I stressed to Krystle Mendez (salesperson) and Valen Tenney (sales manager) that I was flying into Tampa, and wanted to have the car ready to go when I got there from the airport. I signed all documents electronically a few days in advance, and was promised by Valen that a salesperson would pick me up at the airport with my car, I could test drive it to the dealership, then be on my way. No one showed up, and I finally arrived at the dealership by Uber 45 minutes later. I then waited at Krystle's desk for a full 2 hours while the car was cleaned and prepped. After the test drive, I waited another 1/2 hour until I could finish up. I only then learned the car came with only one key. I told them I would need a second, and Valen told me he would put me in touch with a locksmith, which he didn't do. I asked if the dealership would cover the cost of the key since they'd wasted so much of my time, to which he said that this was a very reasonable thing to ask for. Days later, he went back on this, saying that he only meant that he would ask his manager, and that he never agree to pay for the key. This was shifty at best, a bald-faced lie at worst. He said he would go back to his manager and let me know what they would do for me. 10 days have passed, and multiple attempts to reach him have been ignored - I've been totally ghosted. I also specifically asked prior to the sale if the car had a digital key available, and I was assured that it did. After my info was input to the Hyundai database so I could activate the app, I found out a $30 per month subscription is required. Only the original owner has this included; a second owner requires a paid subscription. I absolutely should have been told this when I asked about it before the sale. I tried to get in touch with the general manager by emailing him through a link on the website. I've emailed him twice, and he also has ignored me. I called and asked to speak with him, and waited on hold for 30 minutes and he never picked up. This has been by far my worst car buying experience.

They tried to tell me I had to go to the DMV and pay for it myself, even through I literally paid for them to do that on my invoice. Insane! Will never buy from these guys again. Malik was personable and did his job well (maximizing revenue for the dealership). Wish he would have given me a little bit more post-purchase support in nagging the other departments but I get he is probably more incentivized to move on to the next sale.

The reason I gave this rating is said had the car I was buying and then could not find on one of their lots. I then had to come back 2 days later to do all the paperwork after work when tired ( originally there on Sunday), and get the car. Not how i wanted it. I am returning to withdraw my previous review. It has been a total nightmare since I purchased this Jeep from Hyundai. This vehicle was delivered to me without going through the 99 point inspection. Week 1 lights on the dash came on. Week 2 trip to autozone to get reading on diagnosis codes. Called Hyundai numerous times left messages for Mangement and sales rep to call me. The battery was on its last limb and unable to charge. I had to replace the Dash Cluster. ESC & Traction will not go off. Suspension was hanging on by a thread. One wrong turn or one deep pot hole/man whole, I would’ve lost my life. Right side track bar xxxx near fell apart. Right now I am at the point of reaching out to for legal help. I’ve called Hyundai numerous times to speak to the manger and I am still waiting on a returned call. It’s been five months since I’ve asked to speak to a manager again. Let me not leave out a small tiny crack is on the windshield when it arrived. I traded in my vehicle and wish like xxxx I didn’t. i will not be taking this post down. Therefore, do not call and ask me to remove it like you did the first and second time. My response to Hyundai will be the same response I’ve received from them through this whole nightmare. Tom Murman was our salesman-knowledgeable and respectful. My complaint is that there were numerous special deals offered on national TV, and yet we were not offered any of those deals. In fact, when I questioned them two days later, was told :"Oh, that's for a different vehicle." or "We aren't always up to date on national dealsl." I don't necessarily fault the dealership-buyer beware. But it would have certainly made a huge positive impression as opposed to the negative impression I now hold.

Was disappointed with the continued pricing games to squeeze additional unwarranted funds by the finance group even after the sales team had negotiated a deal. Start with a large advertised discount and then add back all kinds of fees to force the number up to ridiculous levels. It also was evident that this was common practice with other customers. The sales folks were good but I believe hampered by management practices that are misleading and feel deceptive. Took longer to get the documents signed than buying a home.
