The SE Standard Range has a 58 kWh battery pack that works in tandem with a single electric motor (rear-wheel drive) to produce a total system output of 168 horsepower, 258 lb-ft of torque, and 220 miles of driving range. All other IONIQ 5 models are equipped with a 77.4-kWh battery pack for long-range driving.

When equipped with the 77.4-kWh battery pack and a single motor, the Hyundai IONIQ 5 makes 225 horsepower, 258 lb-ft of torque, and 303 miles of range. Models with the 77.4-kWh battery pack and dual motors powertrain configuration generate 320 horsepower, 446 lb-ft of torque, and 256 miles of driving range.

Using a 350-kW charging infrastructure, you can charge the IONIQ 5’s battery from 10 to 80 percent of its capacity in around 18 minutes. With 240-volt Level 2 charging using the 10.9-kW onboard charger, you can charge the IONIQ 5 battery to full in six hours and 43 minutes.
